FCU holds commemoration service

Filamer Christian University's week-long celebration of her 113th Foundation Anniversary kicked-off with a Commemoration Service held at the Roblee Hall, August 18.

Pastor Melanie Catolico-Arandela, former faculty of the University served as the speaker. In her message, Pastor Arandela related the Israelites' story who were led out of Egypt and pointed out three things which were laid down by Moses that should not be forgotten by them.

"Remember the Lord. Remember the laws and obey them. Remember the journey," stressed Pastor Arandela.

She made this as a reference of Filamer's journey, and reminded Filamerians to always inculcate in their heart and mind that God is the God of Filamer and to remember what He has done to the institution.

"Your testimony can be a light to the world," she pointed out to the University employees.
