Filamer Christian College dominated the Capiz Private Schools Association (CAPRISA) Meet Sports Competition as the school is declared Champion from the Elementary, Secondary, and Tertiary Levels. The sporting events were held last September 22-26, 2009 at various venues. This occasion showcased the athletes and socio-cultural contestants,  and together with their coaches and loyal supporters tried to maintain the schools' dominance in this annual event.  With its 22 member schools across the province of Capiz, CAPRISA Meet now becomes a venue for empowering the youth through education, culture, and sports.

Filamer earned 1st Runner-Up in the CAPRISA Literary-Musical Contest held at the FCC Roblee Hall due to the  strong performance collectively by the various performers.
